My favorite abstract photography prints
When I was a kid, I loved reading books and magazines. I would collect them and organize them neatly on my bookshelves. Highschool life back in Malaysia 20 years ago wasn't exciting, and I had plenty of time for doing nothing after reading a few books a day. Flash forward to my adult life, I have been obsessing with creating, and less on Marie Kondoing. When I Facetime or when I am on Zoom, you never see me pointing my phone to my office floor because I am building a castle with random stuff to guard my insecurities.
With what's going on with the world, I am enjoying my second term high school life. This time is all about pretending, though. I am extremely busy with work, but my brain is losing it because I haven't been out for two months. I miss my shopping at T.J. Maxx and going to the nurseries. Maybe this would be a good time for me to get back into my organized life. Other than cleaning up my office, I started some digital organizing too. For example, I put my work in collections on my Society6 page. Now, I am rearranging my images based on the likes number they get. It was an interesting experience, and in fact, it was meditative too.
For the collection of work I am sharing today, they are my abstract and patterns photography work. I love capturing abstraction. It is like creating a collage with existing subjects I see in my everyday life. It shows how I view things slightly different than how other people see them. I am intrigued by the lines and shapes and how light falls on objects. Sometimes I use the photographs to express or hide my emotions so that I don't have to talk about them and make people around me unease. Abstract art allows viewers to have their own interpretations. To think and to feel from the visuals, or not feeling at all because of different personal experiences.
You can head over with the link below to see the full collection and see what people like most. Here, I like to take the opportunity to share some images that I love. Enjoy, have a great day, and please continue to support the artists you love during this trying time.
