Thoughts on Diamine Wilted Rose Fountain Pen Ink

For Day 2 of the Diamine Inkvent Calendar ink, it was the Diamine Wilted Rose, a muted reddish brown color. It has beautiful shading, and I could see some brown shading where the ink was pulled. I think it is all right as a standard ink; the muted tone matches the trending inks we frequently see.

Compared to the inks in my collection, it looks like a lighter version of Diamine Rosewood. If you prefer a more red version, you may consider getting Birmingham Pen Co.'s Rhubarb. Jacque Herbin's Terre de Feu would be an excellent choice for a darker alternative. Since I don't have too many red-tone inks, this is a great addition for me to try, but I probably won't get a full bottle of this ink because I somehow feel it needs something extra to make it memorable.
