If you have been following Telfar's collaboration release, you would know things were a little chaotic and how challenging it was to cop one. The Shopper in black is not yet widely available, and I had only seen it on Nordstrom's website. However, from what I understood, if you want to get one the next time they are in stock, you could consider going in to talk to the SA, and they may be able to put you on their presale list. How I was able to get one was simply pure luck. I learned about the release on the Facebook group I am in, but I was one hour too late by the time I saw the post. I didn't give up, though. I went on to Nordstrom's website and continued to refresh the product page, and somehow at one point, it was available for me to purchase! Nordstrom shipped my order after a few days, and the package arrived very quickly once it was sent!

Before I spray the UGG X Telfar suede shearling bag, I'd like to do a quick run-through and give you my first impression review. The size of the medium shopper seems to be similar to my other Telfar totes. You may think it is odd to think it could be different, but I have purchased Telfar bags that came in slightly different sizes. Another big concern most customers have was how fluffy the shearling was on this bag. I could see some inconsistency on mine, but that's to be expected when it was from natural material. Fluffy or not, it is not so noticeable on a black tote. It definitely is good enough that I am happy with my purchase. I have also ordered a Chestnut color from Telfar, and I will probably do an unboxing and comparison video on my YouTube channel if you are interested. In terms of the suede portion of the shopper, I like how it feels when I touch the bag. I have had other suede bags in which occasionally the surface felt a little sticky. I'm not sure how well the color stays on the bag, so I would recommend you do not use it with a white outfit, especially if you don't plan to spray it.
Since I have had multiple Telfar bags before this one, I thought I would share what's different from their regular vegan leather shopper. It is hard to measure when it comes to the magnetic closure, and I feel the magnet on the closure is weaker than the standard Telfar totes. It looks exactly the same, but it doesn't stay closed as well as the regular ones. One of the changes I love is the zipper pull on the inside pocket. They are now using the Telfar logo as the zipper pull instead of some typical ones. It is cute, and the small details like that give it more of a luxury vibe. The other improvement I love is how they sewed in the handles. I see a triangle shape that is reinforced with stitches where the handles are attached to the bag. This change is significant because the bag will hold a heavier load without the handles failing. The last thing I like to mention is the lining material. The lining on regular Telfar shoppers feels more like polyester, and the lining on the UGG collaboration tote feels more like a cotton blend fabric.

That's all for my initial thoughts on the UGG X Telfar Shopper. I did like it when I first saw the bag out of the box. Considering the design and the material they use, the price is quite reasonable for the quality of this bag. I was also interested in the similar tote Golden Goose has, but I am not sure if the quality is better. The price is more than double, though. If I even see one in store, I will report back the differences and if it is worth getting one.
