A Crossbody tote that I didn't know I needed

Today, I would like to go through a few things and share some thoughts regarding the Crossbody Tote I bought from Portland Leather Goods. This is my second review of bags from them; if you haven't read it, you can find it by following this link.
The Crossbody Tote they carry is available in many colors. Depending on the color you choose, the bag may have a different texture and firmness. I decided to purchase the bag in Grizzly color because I wanted the tote to have some structure and not too floppy. In addition to that, I have also chosen to add a zipper closure, as it will help to retain the bag structure and provide some safety to the things I carry. The last thing I want is my stuff falling out of the bag when I am driving.
Similar to the previous backpack I received, the crossbody tote smelled wonderful! If you like the smell of a new leather bag, you definitely need to consider getting yourself one! The leather they use for the bag has the right amount of thickness, and it appeared to be durable and long-lasting. When I carried some stuff with the tote, it was weighty but not overwhelmingly heavy. In my opinion, the crossbody strap that came with the tote was too narrow. It is stylish but won't be comfortable if you fill the bag with a lot of stuff. I will likely get a thicker/wider strap to go with the bag once I find one that matches the color.
Most of the time, I don't baby my things. When I am busy, I just lay my bags on the chair instead of properly storing them. I laid the empty crossbody tote on my chair in my office after I received it. Because I was distracted by so many other things, I didn't move the bag for a few days, and the near bottom part of the bag it started to develop a fold. I should have stuffed the bag and stored it properly to avoid that; at least, I could still correct the shape before it turned into permanent distortion.
Overall I do enjoy using this crossbody tote from Portland Leather Goods. To a point, I ordered another gray one while they were having a Deal of the Week sale. Now I simply need some good weather so I can put all the PLG bags to good use!
